Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and Implement Web Pages:
   • Design and build front-end web pages using React and NextJS, focusing on code quality and maintainability.
2. Create and Manage Design Systems:
   • Develop design systems from scratch, similar to Radix, Antd, and Chakra, ensuring cohesive and scalable UI components across various products.
3. Responsive Layouts and Advanced CSS:
   • Utilize frameworks like Tailwind CSS to create responsive layouts that perform seamlessly across different devices.
   • Apply advanced CSS techniques, JavaScript, and media queries to enhance user interaction and overall experience.
4. SEO Optimization and Performance:
   • Incorporate SEO best practices at the code level to optimize web pages for better search engine ranking and performance.
   • Optimize page performance through code optimization techniques, including code splitting and lazy loading.
   • Analyze and optimize bundle sizes using tools like Webpack Bundle Analyzer.
5. Collaboration and Innovation:
   • Work closely with the marketing team to develop web pages that support marketing strategies, enhancing brand visibility and engagement.
   • Collaborate with UI/UX designers to ensure the technical feasibility and integration of UI/UX designs.
   • Stay updated with emerging technologies and trends in front-end development to drive innovation in projects.

We'd love to hear from you if you have the following:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in front-end development with React and NextJS.
• Profound experience in front-end development, with a strong portfolio showcasing projects built with React and NextJS.
• In-depth knowledge of design system libraries (Antd, Chakra, Reddix, Bootstrap) and HTML/CSS frameworks (Tailwind CSS).
• Solid understanding of CSS, JavaScript, and media queries, with the ability to create efficient, scalable, and cross-browser code.
• Demonstrated ability to incorporate SEO best practices into code to enhance website search engine visibility and performance.
• Experience with page performance optimization and understanding of web metrics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Salary Range:

INR 4,20,000 to INR 8,40,000 per year

Purpose:

As a Design Engineer at DhiWise, you will be an integral part of our development team or design team, responsible for creating responsive, high-performing web pages. Your expertise in React, NextJS, various design system libraries, SEO performance strategies.
